Circassia Announces Grant of European Composition of Matter Patents for Three of Company's Lead Allergy T-Cell Vaccines
Circassia Ltd, a specialty biopharmaceutical company focused on allergy, today announced that the European Patent Office has granted composition of matter patents protecting three of the company's lead products. The patents cover Circassia's T-cell vaccines for cat and house dust mite allergies and key components of the company's grass allergy therapy. All three products are currently in phase II clinical development.

The newly granted patents significantly extend the period of protection for our three lead ToleroMune® therapies, covering our T-cell vaccines for cat and house dust mite allergies until 2028 and our grass allergy treatment until 2022."
